I graduated from Fairport High School in 1996. I then went on to college at
Syracuse University and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2000.
After graduation, I worked as a graphic designer for Messenger Post
Newspapers, Minuteman Press and The Daily Record. I have designed print
ads, web ads, and whole sections of the newspapers I worked for, as well as
business cards, letterheads, invitations, posters, flyers and brochures. I even
designed an entire magazine for a freelance client of mine. I decided in 2010 that
I wanted to pursue a teaching degree. I graduated from Nazareth College in
2012 with my Masters in Education and as I now teach Graphic Design and
Exploratory Foundations at STEM High School.
It is my goal to open up the world of design to all of my students.
