How do I receive technical support with a Chromebook or MiFi device at home?
- The HelpDesk is the central point of contact where all technology-related problems can be reported and questions can be answered. The District will attempt to resolve the issue on the first call.
- In the case where the HelpDesk cannot resolve the issue, the District will either assign it to the technician responsible for your building, or it will be directed to the appropriate person or department that can provide assistance.
- To submit tickets for technical support, visit https://helpdesk.rcsdk12.org or call (585) 262-8151, Option 4.

How do I request a Chromebook or MiFi device for my child?
- Chromebooks and MiFi devices were distributed to schools during the first few weeks of the school year. To date, the District has made Chromebooks available to students in grades K – 12 for the 2020–21 school year and has provided MiFi devices to families without internet availability.
- Students who are new to the District, or those families who initially declined a Chromebook, should contact their home school. Parents can also visit this link to request a Chromebook for their child. Once the school receives the Chromebook, a student/family will be notified that the device is ready for pick up.
- For any student in grades K – 12 who has not yet received a MiFi device, please fill out this form for your family. The information provided will be given to your child’s home school, and the school will contact parents in order to arrange for pick up.
