In-Person Learning
-
How many students will be assigned to one classroom?
No more than what is on the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) with social distancing parameters put in place.
-
Will my child have the same teacher in-person as he or she did during remote learning?
The District will make every effort to minimize teacher changes. In some cases, the number of students returning to in-person learning may result in teacher change.
-
Will students share materials in a classroom?
Schools will provide adequate supplies to minimize the sharing of high-touch materials to the extent possible (e.g., assigning each student their own supplies, equipment) or limiting the use of supplies and equipment by one group of children at a time and cleaning/disinfecting between use.
-
How will students receive their related services, or other pull-out services, given the demand for space, size of therapy rooms, and social distancing requirements?
All available space will be utilized to assist in the required social distancing requirements.
-
Will my child attend in-person at his/her home school?
This depends on how many students return to in-person learning, but home school changes are a possibility.
-
Will teachers delivering in-person instruction also be responsible for delivering remote learning?
The District is engaging in conversations with teachers about how to best provide instruction to students choosing in-person and those choosing to remain remote.
