• Integrating Related Services

Often, students with Individualized Education Programs receive occupationalphysicalspeech, or counseling therapy as part of their programs. When these services are integrated into classroom learning they are usually more effective and less disruptive than when the student is taken out of class.

If you feel that your child's classroom experience would be improved by fewer "pull-outs" or better classroom integration of special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and/or other service providers, this is something to bring up with your child's teachers, and the school principal.
