SkillsUSA empowers its members to become world-class workers, leaders, and responsible American citizens. We improve the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of SkillsUSA Framework skills that include personal, workplace, and technical skills grounded in academics. Our vision is to produce the most highly skilled workforce in the world, providing every member the opportunity for career success. We run our meetings with a full council in order to learn the leadership skills necessary for success and we compete against other chapters in leadership and technique skills acquired in our CTE programs and our meetings. We develop relationships that encourage and support each other.

SkillsUSA members decide at the beginning of each year how best to serve our community. We have worked with local agencies such as the food bank and habitat for humanity as well as run fundraisers to support the relief for national disasters. Engaging with our community is one of our core principles, learning that giving to our community is makes us all stronger.
