• Welcome Scholars and Families

Dear Pan-African & Latino Studies Parents/Guardians, and students,

On behalf of Rochester Early College International High School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2023-24 school year! We look forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children achieve their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference to your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that he/she:

    •  1) Attends school daily and arrives on time, ready for the day’s learning experience

    •  2) Completes all assignments given by teachers

    •  3) Share school experiences with you so that you are aware of his/her school life

    •  4) Informs you if he/she needs additional support in any area or subject

My job is to help close the educational gap that many of our students face. I have been working with the Rochester City School for over seventeen years. Over the course of the last seventeen years, I have developed into a teacher that provides culturally relevant student-centered lessons. My focus is on student success in and out of the classroom.

My focus is on student success in and out of the classroom. I believe that there is a need for a higher level of student engagement. In order to accomplish this, I need your help. Your child needs to have their cell phone locked away, be on time, and be prepared for class.  Please discuss this with your child. If you need my assistance, please email me ebony.miller-gross@rcsdk12.org

or contact Mrs. Gross at 324-9010 ext 3190.
