Teaching is an absolute passion of mine!  I am excited to work with you and your child!  It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us!  I thought you might want to know a little bit about me.

I am married to my husband James for 11 years and have an almost 9 year old son named Elijah who just started 3rd grade. 

I have lived in Rochester, NY my whole life (minus the 4 years I went away to college.)  I went to Gates Chili High School and graduated in 2002.  From there I went to Daemen College in Buffalo and graduated from there 2006 with my Bachelors Degree.  After Daemen, I returned to Rochester to get my Masters Degree from Nazareth College.  I am the youngest of three girls.  My oldest sister is a lawyer in Kansas, and my other older sister is a counselor in Pennsylvania.

This is my 18^th year teaching; but 8^th year in the Rochester City School District.  I have taught all grades K-12 plus adult learners who need help with their English skills.  It is my goal to instill a love for learning in ALL my students.  I attempt to teach with passion so that ALL students develop a desire to become life-long learners.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need!  I look forward to a great year together!
