Student Government
The Student Government consists of eight leaders from the student body who are working to improve the quality of our school and give back to the community. Being a member gives students an opportunity to acquire communication, planning and organizational skills while planning events for the school community to enjoy.Yearbook Club
Yearbook club provides students with the opportunity to have input in how the yearbook is produced. Members work closely with Ms. Hill to help put together our school yearbook. Students are expected to take lots of pictures and plan yearbook pages.
Fashion ClubThe Fashion Club is a student led club that meets weekly. The club empowers young women by teaching them how to dress, walk, and hold themselves with confidence. This year there is a focus on sustainability within the club. The girls orchestrated a clothing drive where they donated most of the givings to organizations in need, and they’re also using some of the donated clothing as well as recycled materials as part of their fashions during the end of the semester fashion show the club builds towards.
College ClubAn after school club that is for students in Grades 9-12 who are:· Serious about academic success in high school.
· Interested in learning about going to college (2-yr. or 4-yr.).
· Interested in improving their reading, writing, speaking, technology, and research skills though a collaborative research project conducted by their peers, high school teachers, and college faculty on topics chosen by the high school members of the club.
