• VA Christmas Caroling
Seven RECIHS cadets joined LTC Miranda, SFC Singleton and Ms. Courtney for a Christmas party at the VA center in Canandaigua.  The veterans always enjoy socializing with the high schoolers, and the cadets were some of the best carolers this year!

Eight RECIHS JROTC cadets served as a color guard for the welcoming ceremony for 47 veterans returning from visiting the monuments in Washington, DC.  The veterans were very emotional as a large crowd greeted them with cheers and applause.  The cadets are a welcome addition to the celebration.  Thank you for taking the time to recognize our veterans!

    Honor Flight Welcoming Ceremony
On October 9, the cadets participated in a Welcome Back ceremony for 46 World War II veterans returning from a trip to Washington, DC to visit the monumnets.  There was a large crowd and many media outlets at the Rochester Airport for the ceremony.  Our cadets added a dash of honor and dignity that the veterans truly appreciated.

     Geocaching Trip to Spencerport
Cadets used GPS devices to navigate to 6 different cache sites in the Spencerport area.  After some careful searching, caches were discovered which contained tradeable treasures and log books to record their visit.  The cadets successfully located all six caches this day!
