Parents and other community members are encouraged to visit School #50 to observe teaching and learning. At School #50, we will observe the following rules and guidelines to ensure that our primary purpose of teaching and learning may take place without disruption:
- Upon arriving at school, all visitors must report to the Main Office. They must sign in and obtain a Visitor's Badge to wear while in the school building.
- Parents (and other visitors) who wish to observe a class must arrange for the visit by contacting the classroom/support staff teacher IN ADVANCE.
- Visits should be limited to 1 hour or less per occurrence.
- Teachers are not expected to take class time to discuss individual matters with visitors. Meetings with teachers should be pre-arranged by phone or through written correspondence.
