How Will the Uniform Be Enforced?
Although uniforms is our school policy, we will use a supportive and understanding approach to enforcement - Not a punative one.
-
Start of the Year: Grace Period & Reminders
-
Students will receive gentle reminders as they adjust to the new policy.
-
We will review expectations daily and provide visual reminders throughout the school.
-
-
Respectful, Private Support
-
If a student is not in uniform, staff will check in privately and respectfully to understand the reason
-
We will offer a loaner item if needed and available.
-
If necessary, we will call home to clarify expectations or explore any barriers.
-
-
Repeated Non-Compliance
-
If a student repeatedly arrives out of uniform, we will contact the caregiver to discuss how we can support the family.
-
Our goal will always be understanding and partnering with families, not punishment.
-
-
No Lost Learning Time
-
Students will never be excluded from instruction, shamed, or disciplined solely for not being in uniform.
-
Opportunities to Wear Regular Clothes
We understand that students enjoy expressing themselves. To support this, we will offer “Dress Down Days” that can be earned through our Eagle Bucks reward system.
-
Students can use their Eagle Bucks—earned for positive behavior, good choices, and academic effort—to purchase a day to wear regular clothes.
-
This promotes a culture where positive choices are recognized and rewarded.
Uniform Assistance and PTO Support
To help families, our PTO will sell red polo shirts at a discounted price here at the school. If you are in need of support, please don’t hesitate to reach out confidentially—we are happy to help.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our Parent Liaison, Ms. Cooper, at (585) 266-0331 Ext: 1011.
Thank you for your partnership in helping all students feel confident, focused, and ready to learn!
