  • Greeting Montessori Families:

    It is that time of year where we begin to transition from summer fun to academic excellence.

    In keeping with our school’s mission, we are anxious to “promote the physical, social, and academic well-being of the whole child in a safe and secure learning community.”  It is our goal to engage students in activities and experiences that will enhance their academic performance.

    We appeal to all school stakeholders to work collaboratively in order to prepare our students to be career and college ready in our global community. This task can be accomplished by:

    • Working collaboratively with Montessori staff and other families;
    • scheduling and attending parent/teacher conferences;
    • making certain that students are in attendance daily;
    • making certain that homework is completed and returned;
    • volunteering in the classroom or at school wide events;
    • reading with your child daily;
    • and by participating on the school’s instructional leadership team; also known as the School Based Planning Team (SBPT) and/or the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

    There has been some seen and unforeseen changes over the summer. We welcome all families, new and returning, to come in on Thursday, August 23rd from 5:30-6:30pm for a meet and greet (see back).

    Please call and confirm your attendance for the Welcome Back Orientation at 585-325-0935 x 4036. We are looking forward to meeting and greeting all of our Montessori friends.
