Why must my student complete a physical?
New York State law requires all students to have a current physical on file to participate in school sports. This ensures students are healthy and safe to take part in physical activity. The exam must be completed by a licensed healthcare provider within one year of the sports season. Without it, students cannot try out, practice, or compete.
