School #19 has chosen one acronym to use across all grade levels to support students in their ability to answer constructed response questions (CRQ's). CRQ's are the type of questions that require students to answer in their own words, with evidence from the text to support their statement. These questions are designed to measure a student's higher order thinking as the response requires more information than is found in the text alone. School #19 scholars will use the acronym RACE to help them develop their ability to respond to CRQ's.
