• # Lesson 1-2 to 1-6 Quiz

This quiz tests the understanding of sequences and concepts of the lessons 2-6.
• # Lesson 1-6

This lesson gives students practice on the concepts built during the previous 4 lessons. Problems of the form f(x)=a*b^x are given and practiced also. There are a few challenging problems.
• # Lesson 1-5

This lesson looks at the difference in the patterns of geometric and arithmetic sequences, and students write the functions for both types in this lesson.   Definitions for Arithmetic and Geometric Sequences are given and discussed. Students write the functions for both types of sequences, and identify which type a given sequence is.
• # lesson 1-4

Students build on understandings from the previous two lessons, and this time write the function for a given sequence. (Arithmetic only, although vocabulary is not stressed in this lesson. Function is defined and the formal notation is introduced and used.)
• # Lesson 1-3

This lesson builds on the previous and has students continue to practice pattern recognition, and also identify the starting number of the sequence.
• # Lesson 1-2

This lesson focuses on patterns. Students fill in the next 3 terms and identify patterns
