I am originally from Utica, New York, but have been a Rochester-area resident for over 10 years!
I attended college at SUNY Oneonta and then received my Master's degree from SUNY Geneseo. I just finished my doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Rochester. 2012-13 marks my 11th year as a teacher in the Rochester City School District, where I have taught every grade level from third through eleventh. This is my sixth year at Wilson, and I am excited to be teaching in an IB Candidate School!
I recently moved to Webster with my husband, Craig, who is also a teacher. We have a dog named Cassie and a cat named Ellie (nicknamed "The Bean") that keep us company. When I'm not at Wilson or U of R, I am usually reading, watching tv, wasting time on the internet, or taking Cassie for walks. Many of my friends and family live outside of Rochester, and I love traveling to visit them. I also love baseball (Go Yankees!), football (Go Giants!), and hockey (Go Sabres!).
