Our mission is to ensure that students and staff are lifelong readers and effective users of ideas and information. We promote an appreciation of literature, and foster the development in our students of a lifelong habit of reading for pleasure. We strive to provide students and staff with the materials and skills needed to be good users of ideas and information and to posses the knowledge and skills to effectively use information in both print and digital formats.

The Library Media Center is the hub of the school learning environment. It is here where students not only learn information seeking skills, make book choices and check out books on a weekly basis, it is also where teachers are supported, the curriculum is extended and enhanced and reading skills are reinforced.

I look forward to another great year, lots of amazing books, and time spent getting to know the students, families and staff. Please stop in the Library soon to say hello and to look around. I hope to see you soon!
