I have over 14 years of educational experience. I served as a special education teacher, teaching 5^th and 6^th grade self-contained and ICOT. I was a Behavioral Specialist for several years before becoming a Special Education School Improvement Specialist SESIS). As a SESIS I developed and provided professional development and technical assistance to school staff in the areas of Behavior, Specially Designed Instruction and Literacy. During the 17-18 school year, I served as a Coordinating Administrator of Special Education.

I have worked with various levels of school administration providing leadership on programs, policies, and school improvement. I served as the Special Education Expert on over 15 New York State school reviews using the Diagnostic Tool for School and District Effectiveness (DTSDE) to assess areas of weakness in schools and develop corrective actions.

I am committed to student development and achievement, and have worked with many students and families to ensure student success.
