Character Development / Overview

School #12 focuses on positive behavior. Each quarter we use Character Traits to highlight at our Award Assemblies. The purpose of this program is to encourage good citizenship in our whole school community. We award students based on our core beliefs here at AMDA12: Responsibility, Integrity, Growth, Happiness, and Kindness. Each day our morning meetings incorporate opportunities to focus on Social and Emotional Learning and understanding how to showcase these core beliefs. We actively engage in learning opportunities that display examples for scholars to become role models around our school building.

At home, please ask questions about our core values and your child’s understanding of them. We hope you are able to have fulfilling conversations to build our community!
