Appropriate dress for PE includes:
Sneakers, socks, shorts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, tee shirts, running/track suits, tights (girls), sports jerseys, yoga pants.
Inappropriate dress includes:
Jeans, long dress pants, revealing clothing such as half shirts or sagging pants, shoes, boots (regardless of the material the bottom consists of)
Crocs, sandals, flip flops, Capri jeans, too-tight cut-off jean shorts, too-large baggy jean shorts that go down to the ankles.
Children should be dressed comfortably in clothing meant for physical activity. Shorts need to be of appropriate length and fit, as do all clothing. Girls may wear skirts ONLY if their religion dictates so, but they must wear shorts underneath. Children in grades K-2 are encouraged to dress in appropriate PE attire as described above but not required to do so.
Children grades 3-6 are required to dress appropriately for PE.
