Multilingual Parent Advisory Council

  • Multilingual Advisory Council (MPAC) is a vehicle for ELL parents to collaborate for the purpose of problem-solving, program enhancement, communicating with parents, and recognition of student achievement. The purpose of MPAC is to support parental involvement and participation in the English Language Learners’ programming and academic achievement. The council is constituted of multiple collaborators,  including ELL parents, community members, and district staff. The parents from the learning community will elect officers to conduct their monthly, meeting on behalf of MPAC. The district’s role includes providing resources to support MPAC, such as: receiving training through the Parent Advisory Leadership Training, orientation to available programs, and parent engagement opportunities.
