• Students Preparing for Post-Secondary Experiences

Students arriving at RIA after age 19, without having enough credits to graduate before turning age 21, can participate in specialized class placements to prepare them for working towards a TASC (former GED); creating resumes, completing job applications, and participating in job-readiness activities and trainings in preparation for the workforce.  Students also learn basic life skills that are needed for everyday life after school (i.e. balancing a checkbook, navigating the Department of Human Services system, etc.)
