Take a look at some of the things we have been doing in class:

We are Scientists: Students practiced using science tools such as safety glasses, balance scales, hand lenses, eye droppers and beakers. A couple of students even got to wear a lab coat!

Pumpkin Investigation: Students counted seeds and described the inside and outside of the pumpkin. They even put their seeds in groups of 10 for easier counting. We also created pumpkins out of paper plates and labeled the parts of a pumpkin.

Books and Blankets: Fifth Graders from Webster's Klem Road North brought us Books and Blankets. They even stayed to read to our students.

American Symbols: The students created mobiles of some of our American symbols we learned about in Social Studies.
