Computer Science / Overview

Primary students learn computer skills and use software that helps them to learn and increase their understanding of the alphabet, pronunciation of vowel sounds, spelling of new words, and proper computer usage. As they begin to explore mathematics, the computer helps them to visualize problems and comprehend them faster.

Advanced students use the computer as a tool to support research for core subjects, writing assignments, reading activities, math problems and current events.

The development of good computer skills is a preparation for middle school and beyond. As the world becomes more computer oriented and dependent, our students will be prepared to grow with the technology and master concepts that will lead to success in life.
