Next Generation Learning Standards

Lesson One: Understanding equal groups of multiplication.

Lesson Two: Relate Multiplication to an Array Model.

Lesson Three: Interpret the meaning of factors-the size of the group or the number of groups.

Lesson Four: Understanding the meaning of the unknown as the size of the group in division.

Lesson Five: Understanding the meaning of the unknown as the number of groups in division.

Lesson Six: Interpret the unknown in division using the array model.

Lesson Seven and Eight: Demonstrating the commutativity of multiplication and practice related facts by skip counting objects in array models.
