The before school program at School #42 is provided as part of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant for students in grades K-6. To meet grant requirements, each student must attend 90 hours during the 2021-2022 school year. The program will run on days school is in session, Monday through Friday from October 18 through June 17. Special events may be scheduled to showcase student work. The program will include activities such as a musical, theatre arts, arts and crafts, dance, and STEM based projects. Sixth and fifth grade students can choose to participate in the Future Cities Competition! Each scholar who participates will receive at least 1 hour per week of academic intervention. Activities may change throughout the year.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer transportation for our program. Students should be at school by 8:15 AM.
