WOIS Curriculum / Student Learning

At WOIS students and teachers spend time engaged in learning expeditions. Expeditions are in-depth studies that address a topic or theme. Learning expeditions promote active learning, real-world projects, high quality work, adventure and service to others. All expeditions are aligned with NYS and local standards.
Our curriculum integrates Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, Technology Education, Spanish, Music, and Art.
