Special Events

Here at MLK #9, our students have many opportunities to become engaged in the performing arts. Many studies show the performing arts help children to develop higher student achievement, self-confidence, self-expression, problem-solving skills, empathy, and compassion. Many of our students go on to be accepted into the School of the Arts. You can find many of our recent and past performances on our Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School #9 YouTube channel listed below.
