• The school psychologist collaborates with teachers, parents, and administrators to find effective solutions to learning and behavioral problems.  The psychologist also assesses cognitive and academic skills and the student's aptitude for learning.  Another role is to evaluate student eligibility for special education services or other services that may be beneficial to the student.  In addition the psychologist provides both direct and indirect consulatation services to teachers and students in helping develop strategies to assist in student learning and behavior.
