•  “The greatest sign of success for a teacher... is to be able to say, 'The children are now working as if I did not exist.”  ~Maria Montessori

    Dear Middle Elementary Parents,

WELCOME to the new school year!  It is my belief that students learn best through structure, expectations and engagement.  I have three expectations within my classroom:

    Show Respect

Treat others the way you want to be treated.

    Be Responsible

Be responsible for your own learning and actions.

    Show Effort

Always try your BEST in all you do.

Each day students will be working on engaging activities to prepare them to meet their individualized goals.  These goals will support the grade level standards and allow them to be successful in their education. Students will be expected to check their Google Classroom every day which will be a practice of the work learned each day.  It is essential that students practice and share with you what they are learning in order to take ownership of their learning.

I am very excited for this opportunity to work with your children and please know that by working together and building that school-home connection I believe that we will have a very successful year.    Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
