Junior Achievement in the Classroom
Elementary School
JA's Elementary School Programs are designed for students in grades K-5 and include six sequential themes. Basic concepts of business and economics and how education is relevant to the workplace are presented. The six programs also teach students that people assume roles as individuals, consumers, and workers in an expanding environment that extends from the self and family to global relations. Activities build on studies from each preceding grade and prepare students for secondary school and lifelong learning.

Elementary programs align with New York State Learning Standards in the areas of English language arts, mathematics, social studies, career development, and occupational studies.
