We at World of Inquiry School #58 believe that all children can and will learn given the chance. We believe that all children can meet or exceed New York State Standards and our District's benchmarks. We believe that our students' success is possible through collaboration between family, school, and community. We believe that a school that is successful has a common vision. Our school's instruction, school culture, and school curriculum are targeted at improving student academic achievement and strengthening our student's emotional and character growth. We believe our adoption and successful implementation of our reform model, Expeditionary Learning (EL), will enable us to meet and in many cases exceed state and local standards. EL has proven to be effective in improving the achievement levels of low income, at-risk inner-city students. We envision a school that is a shining star where all members of our school community are successful.
