The Youth and Justice program is responsible to provide core academic instruction to students in secondary school. These students have been placed temporarily in this facility by the Criminal Justice system pending a decision regarding their individual situations. All core subjects are taught along with several electives. TASC (formerly GED) preparation is also provided and the TASC exam is administered while incarcerated. This program is a partnership between Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and the Rochester City School District.
