HelpDesk and Computer Maintenance

  • We are a technical support team that provides prompt, knowledgeable and courteous computing support services to the employees and partners of the Rochester City School District.  The HelpDesk is the central point of contact where all Technology related problems can be reported and questions can be answered. We will attempt to resolve the issue on the first call. If the HelpDesk cannot resolve the issue, we will either assign the Technician responsible for your building or be directed to the appropriate person or department that can further assist you.

Creating a Ticket

  • If you have a technology issue that needs to be resolved please include
    the following information when you call:

    • Your full name, with spelling
    • Employee ID number
    • How to best contact you (phone or email) 
    • Where you are located (school and location code/administrative building, floor, suite, and cubicle number)
    • For computer related problems, you computer name
    • Basic overview of the issue
