Requesting and Managing Devices

Students New to RCSD

• If you are new to the district, you can request devices for your children Chromebook by calling your child's home school OR by completing the form located on the Student Technology district page.

• You will be able to pick up your child's device from their home school once they call you to let you know it is available.

• Backpacks with a padded compartments for laptops are available as needed.

Returning Students

• Chromebooks remain an important tool for your child'seducation. The expectation is that your child is bringing their Chromebook or device to school every day with the charger. It helps to establish an evening routine of having them plug in the Chromebook at night in a location close to their book bag and other school materials so it is easy to pack up in the morning.

Broken Chromebooks:

• If your child's device is broken, have them bring it to school so that an adult can help arrange to get it repaired by the building technician.
