My name is Jenna Treahy and I am an Elementary ESOL teacher at the Rochester International Academy. I am lucky enough to teach many students in grades 3-6 and my students come from all over the world! Some of these countries include Nepal, Somalia, Yemen, Iraq, Congo, Eritrea, Malaysia, Thailand, Uganda, Burundi, and so many more! I really enjoy that we are able to learn from each other every single day here at RIA.
In 2013, I completed my undergrad at SUNY Fredonia with degrees in Childhood and Special Education. I went on to complete my graduate work at Nazareth College with a degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
I grew up in Rochester with my parents and my sister, Lianna. I like to cook, read, ride my bike, and spend time with friends and family. When I have the time I also enjoy traveling. Some of my favorite places are England, Ireland, Scotland, Maine, and the Adirondacks!
