Chojy was an ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) teacher for many years in the Rochester City School District. She has organized numerous volunteer programs for English language learners within Rochester.
She supports RIA by doing what she has always done, and is very good at: standing up for those who may not have the voice to speak up for themselves. She continues to work with volunteer programs for English language learners through the University of Rochester and other organizations and agencies.
