Mission

The mission of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School No. 9 is to prepare students to be productive members of a culturally diverse and increasingly complex society. We will accomplish this in a safe, nurturing, and pleasing environment where a competent, cooperative, and collaborative staff provides a challenging academic program for all students.

Vision

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School No. 9 is a Rochester elementary school that provides a safe, collaborative and pleasing learning environment where children are prepared to be productive members of a culturally diverse society.
