STEPHANIE HARRIS began in the Rochester City School District more than 37 years ago as a student and a parent. After a career change, she began teaching junior and high school mathematics at Charlotte High School 16 years ago.
Ms. Harris also served on the district’s curriculum writing team, as an Instructional Math Coach and an Assistant Principal at CHS. Her career path then led her to serve as a district administrator as a Network Team Accountability Leader and the Director of Mathematics.
After leaving the district for one year to serve as the Instructional Vice-Principal at University Preparatory Charter School for Young Men, Ms. Harris returned to the district as an Assistant Principal at Nathaniel Rochester Community School No. 3 and Acting Principal. She subsequently served as the Principal of Vanguard Collegiate High School. She has now had the privilege of opening Franklin Lower School and proudly serve you and your children as the principal.
Ms. Harris is the mother of two sons (one a graduate of OSU and the other a high school graduate of the class of 2021) and the best labradoodle you ever want to meet. Ms. Harris is very passionate about education and supporting the success of ALL students and staff.
