James P.D. Duffy (School #12) is very lucky to have four Speech Language Pathologists (SLP's) in our building. While most children seem to acquire speech and language fairly easily, occasionally a child may have some difficulty communicating with others. The SLP's at #12 try to help the children whose speech or language interferes with their ability to function in a school environment. In addition to working with students identifed to have Speech and Language needs, I teach a first grade reading group. Our school uses the Success For All (SFA) reading program.
Please follow the links on the side for more information about Speech and Language as well as information for my SFA reading group.
