Principal / Overview

Ms. Steflik was named Principal of Nathaniel Hawthorne School No. 25 in July of 2022.

Ms. Steflik joined the Rochester City School District in 2014. During her tenure as Assistant Principal, she served our community at Charles Carroll School No. 46, World of Inquiry School No. 58, and Anna Murray Douglass Academy School No. 12. In these roles, she focused on instructional leadership and helped streamline and lead multi-tiered supports systems(MTSS) while facilitating collaborative school improvement. Prior to joining the RCSD, Ms. Steflik worked in Dansville Central School District for 15 years. Ms. Steflik taught French and served as a teacher on assignment leading MTSS initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in French and Religious Studies from St. Lawrence University

Master's Degree in French and a Master's Degree in Teaching from SUNY Binghamton University

Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership from the University of Rochester.
