All Virtual Initial Credit (VIC) courses are primarily asynchronous, with some regularly scheduled live meetings throughout the year.  Each registered student should have scheduled time within their day to work on the coursework.  In addition, there will be a required online orientation that students are required to take prior to beginning their coursework.  This orientation will help students become acquainted with the online platform, review class expectations, and familiarize themselves with necessary Google applications.  The virtual component of the courses allow students to progress through the curriculum at an individual pace, gives them 24-hour access to both the curriculum and supporting resources, and provides immediate feedback on assignments.
