I grew up here is Rochester, New York. I actually attended the Rochester City Schools until high school, when I attended Aquinas Institute. After high school I went to St. John Fisher College. While at St. John Fisher, I studied Childhood and Special Education. I also have a minor in Math, Science, and Technology. I loved my St. John Fisher! I feel as though I learned so much about teaching there! I also received my masters degree a couple of years later, in Reading and Literacy.
My life at School #33... one of the biggest parts of my life has been here at School #33! I have met some of the greatest children that have really taught me a lot. I taught 6th grade for 5 years and took a small break to teach 2nd grade. Although this was a great change for me, I was thrilled to come back to the 5th and 6th grade! I am back to the primary grades now! Working in a K-2 classroom. My life at home... I am married and I have two beautiful daughters, Ella and Sophia and handsome little boy, Nicholas! They are light of my life! It's amazing how much your life changes with three little ones! They inspire me to be a good mom and a good teacher during the day!
