DETAILS:
Acting Principal Jason Wertz challenged the students at School No. 45 to read at least 10 books from November 4 to December 16. Because the students reached this goal, their principal will be spending the school day on the roof.

Shortly after students arrive to school on Wednesday, at 8:30 am, the Rochester Fire Department will lift Wertz onto the roof. Students, staff, and parents will be present to cheer him on and celebrate their achievements in reading. NYS Senator Joe Robach and Mayor Lovely Warren will be stopping by to show their support as well. Books will be available for adults to come into the school and read to the students throughout the day.
