TRUCKLOAD OF FREE BOOKS ARRIVING ON MONDAY
First Book to Deliver 40,000 Free Books to District

DETAILS
On Monday, First Book is scheduled to deliver 40,000 free books to the Rochester City School District as a result of registering 2,000 educators and District community partners. Volunteers will be on hand to unload the truck and organize the books for distribution next week.

On Saturday, December 13, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, First Book account holders will be able to select 20 to 40 books to use to stock classroom libraries, give books to students, or any other way they can use books to help students.

First Book is transforming the lives of children in need and elevating the quality of education by making new, high-quality books available on an ongoing basis. To date, First Book has distributed more than 120 million books and educational resources to programs and schools serving children from low-income families throughout the United States and Canada.
