NAWIC shares stories and experiences with young women studying within CTE programs at Edison
National Association of Women in Construction members share their stories and experiences with Edison students—giving insight into the world of Construction, Architecture and Engineering from a woman’s perspective

students interested in pursuing Architecture, Construction or Engineering
careers will have the opportunity to hear from and network with industry
members of these fields

by a networking dinner (courtesy of Hillside)

DETAILS:
Edison and Hillside are pleased to announce
a NAWIC seminar and networking dinner. This seminar is the first in an upcoming
series of CTE seminars here at Edison. Four of Rochester’s women leaders in the
ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) industries will be sharing
with us, including the following:
· Cari Durbin, project engineer in charge of Department of Transportation highway and bridge construction projects
· Michelle Schleher, project manager for LeChase Construction Services
· Tra Wilcox, an IPM technician with Brocollo Tree and Lawn Care
· Nadia Thompson, plumbing and fire protection designer with Turner Engineering PC
The NAWIC series of presentations will run from 3:15-4:15, followed by a professional networking time in a dinner forum.
