DETAILS:
Roberto Mamani, Bolivia’s most famous contemporary painter, will be visiting schools in the Rochester City School District this week. Mr. Mamani will work with students at James Monroe High School, Integrated Arts & Technology High School, Vanguard Collegiate High School, and World of Inquiry School No. 58.

Roberto Mamani, a self-taught Aymaran artist, is one of Bolivia's most highly recognized artists. He has won numerous national and international awards, and his collections of works have been exhibited worldwide, including shows in the United States, Japan, Germany, and England. Mamani’s paintings are known best for their vibrant colors and the powerful emotions they evoke.
