District Leaders "ROC the Regents" with Students from World of Inquiry School No. 58
(June 17, 2019) As students prepare to take the Regents exams, which begin this week, Board of Education President Van White, Commissioner Beatriz LeBron, and incoming Superintendent of Schools Terry Dade attended a rally at World of Inquiry School No. 58 on Monday, June 17, 2019.
This rally was in support of the 7,000 high school students from across the District who will be taking exams that start on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. These District leaders spent time inspiring and encouraging 8th grade students who are preparing to take the Living Environment Regents exam for the first time.
Board of Education President White produced a video that was shown to students at World of Inquiry on Monday, and District staff received this video via e-mail Monday to share with students who may be taking a Regents exam.
The District thanks all staff members, parents, and community members who have worked diligently throughout the school year to help students achieve academic success.
