The Rochester City School District congratulates Dyaisha Fair, a senior at Edison Career and Technology High School, for signing a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Buffalo where she will play basketball.
Fair is the first girls basketball player from Edison to sign at a Division I school since 1998. She is an exceptional student with a grade point average of 4.14. She has also scored 1,369 points in her three-year high school career at Edison.
Fair said, “I want to thank all of my coaches from the beginning to now, everybody that came out today to support me, my pastor, and the rest of my support system.”
Jack Palmeri, the Varsity girls basketball coach at Edison said, “Dyaisha is the hardest working individual I have ever worked with. She has no off season and she is always working hard to improve her game and grades.”
Congratulations, Dyaisha, on this well-deserved accomplishment.
