The Flower City School No. 54 Hosts Parent Workshop to Enhance Engagement with i-Ready

(November 18, 2024) At Flower City School No. 54, a parent workshop on Friday, November 15, focused on strengthening the partnership between the school and families and providing insights into the i-Ready platform.  The session aimed to help parents better understand how their children use the program and how they can support their academic progress at home.

Parents learned how i-Ready assesses their children’s skills in reading and math through diagnostic testing, identifying strengths and areas for growth. This data helps create personalized learning paths that ensure students stay on track to meet their academic goals.

The session also introduced i-Ready’s goal-setting worksheets, which students complete throughout the year. Parents were encouraged to talk with their children about these goals and offer support as they track progress.

By fostering strong partnerships between the school and families, School No. 54 remains committed to providing students with the tools and support they need to succeed. Ongoing collaboration plays a key role in ensuring academic achievement for all students.
